- There are six pieces of downloadable content (DLC) for Bethesda Game Studios ' action role-playing video game Fallout 4. Released once a month from April to August 2016, each expansion pack adds a variety of different content, with Far Harbor being the largest in terms of additional gameplay and Nuka-World being the largest in terms of file size.
- Main article: Automatron. Automatron is the first add-on for Fallout 4, and the first.

I like to request a collection of Fallout 4's DLC, as up to date and complete as possible, and *not* attached to an install of the main game; no standalone collections currently exist, causing problems for existing installs (cracked or not,) and 4 out 6 dlcs are 3/4ths drastically out of date and 1/4th wholly missing when looking for them individually. I'd much appreciate it, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Thanks for your time, guys. Yarr har harr!
Quote:i tried to post this comment on a Fallout 4 torrent just earlier, the new KaOs repack, because one of the comments to that torrent was a dick, but i discovered on my own that he wasn't as wrong as that dickiness made it seem. my comment didn't seem to post right, over there, but tbh, here is probably a better place to post it anyway; just gonna 1-1 copypaste what i'd written, hope that's alright. i'll blank the name of the guy here, though, to avoid inciting anything.

________ was rude, and wrong to be that way; but the message buried under all that wasn't. Torrents for *only* FO4's DLC are in a sorry state, being few, far between, scattered, out-of-date, and incomplete. Using what’s available, without having to torrent (and install) an entire extra instance of the main game, (and subsequently fix whatever registry mayhem and hard drive fillage results) one would only be able to get Far Harbor and Automatron in any useful way, as Nuka World is only available in beta, and the same is true for both Contraption and Wasteland Workshops; meanwhile, Vault Tec Workshop is wholly absent. I actually have the main game legit, for modding purposes; I only need the DLC, but am fairly confused at its unavailability, considering that Fallout (and Elder Scrolls, for that matter) DLCs (excluding the games themselves, obviously) have gotta be the easiest bits of software to “prepare” of all time. Both game series are so moddable because of how they load their files; if it’s in the Data folder, it goes, and that’s that, and the games own main files and DLCs are formatted and loaded in the exact same way as user mods. That means there’d be no crack needed, and even compression wouldn’t be strictly necessary (albeit still being helpful on data); it’d be a simple matter of grabbing the latest DLC files from a licensed PC’s Data folder, copying them to a new folder on said PC, setting that up to be seeded, and that’s that. Hell, you could even set up a script to re-copy them periodically, and have the torrent be automatically kept up to date with the latest files, fresh from Steam! An hour or two of work, 3 tops, and that’s if they’re as bad as I am at batch scripting. (Though the delta updating’d be far more BTsync-y, and I’m unsure whether normal torrents can have that level of updatability; would seeds conflict with each other, or could they figure it out? Hmm.) Either way, it’s a sorry state, but one that’s quite easily fixed; and considering said ease, I find it odd that no one has fixed it yet. I understand it’s all for free, and beggars can’t be choosers, but I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t be alone in appreciating it if you or any other teams would prioritize a standalone DLC compilation release, even if it can’t be made to auto-update like I posited. As an aside, I did try to download this one, intending to harvest its DLC then uninstall, but got nothing but an empty folder at the install path and an incomprehensible mass of Cyrillic error. Not sure how to fix it, but tbh, I’m already worried installing this at all might mess up my legit install, somehow; I’d rather go a different route than delve deeper into my system to fix something that was itself meant to be a temporary fix, only to end up breaking something else. No offense, meant, of course; seems an excellent release when it works! if you've any info about whether I'm worried for nothing about this install messing up others, (or how to fix this one, for that matter) please do let me know; but beyond that, i think I'll just hope for that compilation.

I believe the request is self explanatory, but for those who tl:dr'd, I'd much appreciate as complete and up-to-date a compilation of Fallout 4's DLCs as possible, as none exist that aren't packaged with copies of the main game, risking problems for existing installs. the standalone releases that exist are 3/6th's drastically out of date betas, and 1/6th simply nonexistent, so it's not possible to collect it oneself from existing torrents. it should be fairly simple, because Bethesda games load their game files (including DLCs) similar to as if they were mods; ostensibly, that means the DLCs wouldn't need any cracking, and even compression would be optional: just seed'n'succeed. if someone could do this, that'd be great; thanks for your time, guys.
